Abstract
Each year, the award provides recognition for superior performance by one of the ISO standards development groups. At its 30th General Assembly held in Geneva, Switzerland in September, 2007, ISO President Håkan Murby presented the award to Mr Howard Mason, Chair of ISO TC184/SC4 on behalf of the SC4 Subcommittee. The Lawrence D. Eicher Leadership Award was set up in 2002 by ISO Council to honour the memory of the late Dr. Lawrence D. Eicher, ISO Secretary-General from 1986 to 2002.
