Abstract

Prototype resulted from a national project (POSI/33994/SRI/2000, “Climber Robot” project) and was classified as good. This prototype was designed and constructed within the Superconducting Machines Group in 2003 and consists of a flat linear induction motor to drive a robot for steel ships inspection.
